Thomas Bjorn has been a fixture near the top of the PGA European Tour’s Order of Merit for more than a decade. Bjorn had a career year in 2011, with three victories that included back-to-back wins at the Johnnie Walker Championship and the Omega European Masters. Bjorn now has 14 career European Tour victories. He was the first Dane to play in the Ryder Cup matches and a key contributor on the 1997 and 2002 teams. In 2010, he was chosen to assist Europe as a Ryder Cup vice captain.

 

A big football (soccer) fan, Bjorn is a supporter of Liverpool Football Club. In 2009, Thomas captained Continental Europe in the Vivendi Trophy with Seve Ballasteros, leading his team to a comeback win in Singles. Thomas uses an Odyssey Putter and was born in Denmark.
