Drivers Through The Decades

Matt Wallace and Erik van Rooyen go back in time on the European Tour to experience four decades of iconic Callaway drivers. As the European Tour went to the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, we decided to take two of our most prominent stars back in time. Team Callaway players, Matt Wallace and Erik van Rooyen, were tasked with testing some of the most iconic golf clubs from the last four decades: · 1983 – Original Persimmon · 1995 – Great Big Bertha · 2006 – FTi · 2010 – Diablo Edge Complete with period golf outfits – some more forgiving than others! – the challenge culminated with a nearest the pin challenge on a par four using the brand new Callaway MAVRIK driver. The pin is 333 yards away…how close can they get?
